We have $1,000,000 of “Public Liability” insurance, and $100,000 of “Goods In Transit” or what is also referred to as “Marine Cargo” insurance. This is more than enough to cover any house move. Unless of course some of your belongings are literally priceless! A lot of other furniture removalists in Melbourne charge extra for having insurance on removals. This I find to be ridiculous as I believe all of us removalists companies pay their business insurances once per year “annually”. It is just a little add on that boosts their profits.
